About the Opportunity
As an HCM/HR/Payroll Application Solution Analyst at eHealth NSW, you will play a critical role in enabling high-quality healthcare by supporting the systems that underpin NSW Health’s workforce.

This role sits within the NSW Health Corporate IT Program, delivering a shared, statewide corporate technology platform. As a trusted HR and Payroll subject matter expert, you will provide specialised advice across HR, Industrial Relations, and Payroll to ensure system solutions comply with legislative, statutory, and Award requirements.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to support payroll and HR business practices across both individual functional areas and cross functional processes. By resolving complex business process issues and maximising system functionality, you will help drive best practice outcomes across NSW Health.

In this role, you will:

  • Advise on complex legislative, statutory and Award requirements to ensure HR and Payroll solutions are compliant and fit for purpose across NSW Health.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Application Specialists to design and execute effective testing, including business scenarios and test data.
  • Deliver accurate data preparation, mapping, cleansing and manual conversion to support reliable system functionality.
  • Lead unit and integration testing, proactively identifying, managing and resolving system defects and risks.
  • Influence solution design by translating business objectives and evolving legal or industrial requirements into best practice system processes.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

  • Extensive experience in HR, Industrial Relations and Payroll operations within a large, complex organisation, including expert interpretation of diverse legislative and Award conditions.
  • Strong capability in HR information systems, with the ability to interpret system data and support end‑to‑end testing within an HR/Payroll environment.
  • Proven experience developing and documenting HR and Payroll business processes, including the accurate application of Awards and employment conditions within payroll systems.
