Medical & Interventional Services
Are you an organised, motivated, and proactive professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced healthcare environment? The General Medicine Department at John Hunter Hospital is seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer to join our multidisciplinary team of administration staff, doctors, and nurses.
In this dynamic position, you will play a key part in supporting the daily operations of the General Medicine Unit. Your responsibilities will include:
Clinical typing
Managing phone inquiries
Handling digital medical records
Coordinating clinic bookings
Performing a range of administrative duties
Managing room bookings
Assisting with Grand Rounds, including flyer creation and liaison with presenters
Distributing the General Medicine Roster and On-Call Roster
Coordinating distribution of Advanced Trainee Education Sessions
