Our 32-bed acute mixed medical unit offers a unique opportunity to care for a diverse range of patients across specialties including Palliative Care, Rehabilitation, Acute Stroke, Aged Care, Cognitive Impairment, Cardiac Telemetry and General Medicine. With no two days the same, you'll gain valuable experience while making a genuine difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Supported by an experienced Nurse Unit Manager and dedicated Clinical Nurse Educators, you'll be encouraged to grow your confidence, expand your knowledge and progress your nursing career.

 

About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse within our General Medical Unit, you will:

  • Deliver safe, compassionate and evidence-based nursing care
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Care for patients with a wide range of acute and complex medical conditions
  • Contribute to positive patient outcomes and exceptional patient experiences
  • Continue developing your clinical skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment
  • Play an active role in fostering a positive and supportive team culture

 

About You

We're looking for motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurses who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

You will bring:

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Acute care experience or relevant acute care training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to adapt and thrive in a busy clinical environment
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • A positive attitude and a team-focused approach to care
