About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available to backfill the Fleet Officer role within the District Fleet team. This position plays a critical role in the management and performance of fleet assets across Western NSW LHD.
The Fleet Officer is responsible for providing oversight across key areas of fleet management, contributing to the identification of strategic improvements to fleet performance, developing solutions, and facilitating their implementation, with a strong focus on the governance of fleet-related NSW Health policies and procedures.
This role involves close collaboration with the Fleet Officer, District Manager for Fleet Services, external stakeholders and a wide range of NSW Health staff to ensure efficient and effective Fleet Asset use.
Fleet assets are essential in enabling staff to undertake their duties. Being part of the team that supports these services and the staff who rely on them brings a sense of purpose and pride.
