This position is responsible for the administration and management of the of the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) vehicle fleet and travel systems to ensure appropriate utilisation. This includes the knowledge of all relevant policies related to fleet and travel and their application within NSW Health.
Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/ or equivalent experience in a related field, preferably within the NSW Health setting.
- Evidence of leadership, along with team and systems management capabilities.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills and the ability to use these to provide professional written materials, subject matter expertise, advice, training and support.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs of work.
- Proven ability to manage a high/fluctuating volume of work and allocate priorities to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to engage and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
