Hunter New England Health is seeking two motivated and detail-driven Finance Coordinators to join our dynamic Operations Finance Team in the new year. In this rewarding role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the financial performance of one of the largest regional health districts in NSW.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and working closely with Finance Managers, you’ll provide essential support in the preparation, analysis, and delivery of financial information and maintenance of key financial documents that inform critical operational decisions across the District. This role offers broad exposure across services and a career pathway toward a Finance Manager position.
What You’ll Do
As a finance coordinator you will be responsible for:
Prepare and analyse financial, activity, and staffing management reports
Provide accurate, timely insights and support key financial decisions
Assist with the annual budget build, forecasts, and audits
Support process improvement and cost-saving initiatives
Collaborate with Finance Managers across the District to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
