About the role

  • Drive Financial Insights That Matter
    Use your skills to analyse and report on trust accounts, helping ensure transparency, accuracy, and strategic use of funding across SVHNS and TSVH.

  • Get Hands-On with Key Systems
    Support our Oracle system structure and help manage contracts, income, and lease agreements—keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

  • Be a Connector Across Teams
    Work closely with Trust Accountants, Senior Finance Business Partners, and department leaders, making sure financial advice and processes support real hospital outcomes.

  • Support Budgets & Compliance Goals
    Play a key role in budgeting for trust accounts and support the delivery of financial and operational goals across the network.

  • Collaborate with Purpose
    Be part of a purpose-driven finance team that partners with HealthShare and other key services to ensure timely payments and strong financial performance.

 

About you

  • Qualified & Ready to Go​: You have a degree in accounting, business, commerce (or similar), and you're a member of a professional accounting body—or bring equivalent experience to the table.

  • Proven Finance Expertise: You’ve worked in financial analysis or accounts payable roles within large, complex organisations—and you know how to handle big systems and processes with confidence.

  • A Natural Communicator: You’ve got excellent people skills and can communicate clearly across all levels—from department heads to shared services—while building strong relationships and influencing outcomes.

  • Problem Solver with Initiative: You bring sound judgement, can work independently, and are always ready to step up, solve problems, and improve how things are done.

  • Tech-Savvy & Detail-Focused: You’re experienced in using large financial systems (Oracle experience is a big plus!) and love digging into data to deliver smart, accurate reporting that drives real decisions.

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.
