About the Opportunity
In this role, you are expected to provide a specialist trauma-informed counselling and/or case management response to women who are impacted by domestic violence, in order to increase safety, well-being and access to services. You will be undertaking complex psychosocial risk assessments, provides evidence-based counselling and case management, safety planning, trauma and crisis counselling, group work and advocacy for women and children affected by domestic violence.

Ideal Candidate
- Must hold one of the following:
- Social Worker: Degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of AASW with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Psychologist: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and full registration with AHPRA.
- Clinical Psychologist: Registered psychologist with AHPRA with post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) endorsement in Clinical Psychology or working towards the same.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical experience and understanding of domestic violence where women and children are at risk of harm.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
