What you'll be doing

The Facilities Administration Officer provides administrative and operational support to ensure the effective day-to-day management of facilities and workplace services. The role coordinates maintenance requests, liaises with contractors and service providers, supports vendor administration including purchase orders and invoices, and maintains facilities records and asset registers. The position also assists with workplace logistics, responds to staff facilities enquiries, and supports compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements to help maintain a safe and well-functioning workplace environment.


The Administration Officer will manage physical and financial resources to ensure the delivery of services or the successful completion of a project. The Administration Officer will assist in the decision making across a number of areas and in the review of operational systems. The incumbent will work with little formal guidelines, usually under limited direction as to work priorities and the detailed conduct of the task. The Administration Officer will manage conflict of resources or priorities. The incumbent will exercise independent action within constraints set by senior management. The Administration Officer is required to exercise advanced skills and knowledge in respect of pay office functions and check subordinates work.
