About the Opportunity
ACCP are currently looking for an amazing Care Exercise Physiologist to join our team/family.
The team has a big focus on not only the wellbeing of our clients but also each other. The position is responsible for the provision of specialist services to Aboriginal patients and their families with chronic and/or complex needs in a culturally safe, patient centred way to facilitate optimal health outcomes.
What you'll be doing
This position is responsible for providing patient centered and high quality exercise physiology to consumers in ACCP, including providing the facilitation of exercise programs to consumers as per caseload: provide and participate in education and evaluation; supervise students as appropriate; and participate in ongoing professional development.

- Bachelor degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise and Sports Science (or equivalent) with eligibility for ESSA membership.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, undertake and supervise appropriate exercise programs for consumers of the service
- Demonstrated understanding of the range of factors that have influenced the heath status of Aboriginal communities
- Demonstrated experience in the prescription and delivery of chronic care exercise programs to consumers with varying health conditions and co-morbidities.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
