About the Role

We are searching for a visionary and strategic leader to take on the pivotal role of Executive Director, Strategy, Architecture and Transformation Office. 

This is a unique opportunity to lead impactful initiatives, drive innovation and excellence in ICT systems that support the wellbeing of millions.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will provide strategic leadership overseeing the strategic planning, design, and execution of digital and ICT systems across the NSW Health system.

You will lead a large team collaborating closely with various teams across the agency ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, statewide standards, and the NSW Government's ICT Strategy. This role will also oversee governance frameworks, infrastructure, change management, design, customer experience and benefits realisation, ensuring the delivery of secure, stable, and customer-centric digital services enabling seamless integration and performance across a complex and dynamic health ecosystem.

You will be a key player within the eHealth NSW and broader NSW Health executive team as well as represent our Agency through building strong sustainable relationships to deliver customer value in alignment with ministerial priorities.


About You

  • You are a seasoned executive with deep expertise in strategy and innovation, ICT architecture, digital transformation, and large-scale system delivery,
  • You bring a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for improving public health outcomes through technology.
  • You are a visionary committed to public service values who can lead multidisciplinary teams and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.

This is an ongoing, full time, Band 2, Health Service senior executive (HSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $302,332 to $338,486 per annum (SOORT 2024), with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
