Executive Assistant - leave relief from July 2026 till December 2026 (inclusive).

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive day-to-day support to both the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
This is a leave relief from July 2026 till December 2026 (inclusive) contract opportunity covering a leave relief backfill, ideal for a proactive professional who can step in quickly and operate in a fast-paced executive environment.

AWARD CLASSIFICATION: Health Services Manager – Level 1

STATUS/HOURS:                Temporary full-time 38 hours per week

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The position has responsibility to provide high-level executive assistance and administrative support to the CEO & CFO from July 2026 to December 2026 Inclusive. The position will support Karitane's vision through the continual pursuit of excellence in providing Secretarial/Administrative Support, which seeks to exceed customer needs and one that is efficient and effective in the safe use of both people and material resources.

 PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The position holder will assist and support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

•    Temporary full time (leave relief) employment status in accordance with the Named NSW (Non­ Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations' Health Employees Agreement. Karitane services are provided at several sites within the Sydney Metropolitan Area. Most Karitane's services close for approximately two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, during which time employees are required to take leave.
•    Karitane supports a smoke free environment including grounds, buildings, and vehicles.
•    Applicants will have a commitment to EEO & WHS&R Policies, ethical practice, and the principles of cultural diversity.
•    Relevant Criminal History, Working with Children Check, Apprehended Violence Orders and prior employment checks, including relevant disciplinary proceedings, will be conducted on recommended applicants.

REQUIREMENTS:

•    Innovative and creative and the ability to multitask on an ongoing basis

•    Ability to be self-directed, motivated, and work as part of a skilled team
•    Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines
•    Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations and always remain professional
•    Demonstrated ability to design and implement systems as well as work practices that are efficient and result in desired outcomes
•    Accurate diary and schedule management
•    High level, accurate Minute-Taking

Required Education and Experience:

•    Not essential however a Certificate IV or equivalent Office Administration is an advantage.
•    Knowledge and experience previously working for a CEO & CFO is preferred.
•    Knowledge of health environments is an advantage.
•    Highly proficient computer skills (Advanced skill within Microsoft Office Packages and TRIM)
