Enrolled Nurse Transit Lounge
A rare opportunity for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join the fast-paced environment of the Transit Lounge here at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH). The position is permanent part time, 20 hours per week.

The Transit Lounge at Royal North Shore Hospital consists of 7 beds and 14 chairs, catering for patients transitioning through the hospital. These patients are either being admitted to hospital or are being discharged to home or other facility. The Transit Lounge also provides a service to patients who are accessing various outpatient services and are awaiting transport back to their home. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:30 (these times may be subject to change).
What you'll be doing
The Enrolled Nurse will consult with the registered nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with own level of competence and within Local Health District (LHD) and Service policy, particularly in relation to the administration of medications.

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Experience in Acute care.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
