About the Opportunity
We are seeking dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join us at the Medical Imaging Unit at Wagga Base. Working in Medical Imaging offers a unique opportunity to combine your nursing skills with advanced healthcare technology while making a direct impact on patient care and being a part of a specialised multidisciplinary team, supporting a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Current Enrolled Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient-centred nursing care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse and multidisciplinary team.
- Recognise and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns and documenting care appropriately.
- Engage patients and carers in care planning, education and informed decision-making.
- Coordinate safe and effective discharge or transfer of care to support positive patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice to enhance patient care.
- Work within your scope of practice, accept accountability for your actions and seek guidance when required.
- Undertake other duties consistent with the Award classification and service needs.
