Why Join Us

At Manning Base Hospital, you’ll find more than just a workplace - you’ll find connection, purpose, and balance. Nestled in beautiful Taree on the Mid North Coast, our team enjoys the best of regional living: a relaxed pace, strong community spirit, and the stunning Manning River, beaches, and hinterland all within easy reach.

On Level 6, you’ll be part of a compassionate team providing care across 14 medical and 6 dedicated palliative care beds. Here, nursing is truly person-centred - we take the time to listen, to support, and to care not just for our patients, but for each other.

We understand that work-life balance matters, which is why this role offers a 7-day rotating roster with self-rostering options - giving you the flexibility to plan your life around what’s most important. You’ll also have daily access to education opportunities, from in-services and grand rounds to online learning during “Education Hour,” ensuring you continue to grow professionally while working in a team that values curiosity and development.
