Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
An exciting opportunity to join the Florence Risby Medical team at Hawkesbury District Hospital as an Enrolled Nurse on a 7 day rotating roster. Florence Risby Ward is a busy and rewarding Medical unit providing care to patients with a broad range of acute conditions. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care, supporting patients throughout their hospital journey.
In this role, you will assist with the delivery of high quality clinical care, monitor and report on patient conditions, and contribute to a positive and supportive ward environment. You will be part of a team that values respect, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
We are seeking motivated Enrolled Nurses with current AHPRA registration who demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to excellent patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced acute setting. Experience in medical nursing is highly regarded.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute Nursing
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster
