About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse at Gloucester Soldiers Memorial Hospital (GSMH), you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a friendly and supportive rural hospital environment.

You’ll primarily work on Roma Ward (14 acute beds), providing direct nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Depending on your skills and scope of practice, you may also assist in the Emergency Department (3 beds) or Day Surgery Unit (12 chairs) as required.

This role offers the opportunity to broaden your clinical experience and contribute meaningfully to the health and wellbeing of your local community.

Gloucester Soldiers Memorial Hospital (GSMH) is part of the Rural and Regional Health Service within the Hunter New England Local Health District, proudly serving the people of the Gloucester region.

Our facility includes:

  • 14 acute care beds on Roma Ward
  • 3 Emergency Unit beds
  • 12 Day Stay Unit chairs within the Peri-operative area

Our multidisciplinary team includes Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, General Practitioners, Visiting Medical Officers, and Allied Health professionals, all working together to provide exceptional, holistic care.
