Where you'll be working
PECC Unit at Hornsby Hospital is a 6 bed unit operating in Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai Hospital under the governance of NSLHD Mental Health Drug and Alcohol within Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai Mental Health Services.
What you'll be doing
The Enrolled Nurse within PECC at HKH will coordinate and provide high quality nursing care, specialising in the assessment, planning and implementation of strategies to manage consumers with mental illnesses and in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality consumer care outcomes.
The EN within Mental Health Drug and Alcohol (MHDA) Services leads and supports quality patient health outcomes with a focus of recovery across a range of health care settings.
The EN plans, implements and evaluates specific mental health nursing care activities that support the multidisciplinary health care team and ensures safe practice within adopted models of care.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills.
