The Opportunity
HealthShare NSW is looking for a skilled Engineer to join our Medical Equipment Unit within Strategic Procurement Services. In this key role, you will provide expert engineering support for the procurement of complex medical equipment, delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions that enhance patient outcomes. You will lead projects, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices.
The ideal candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering (preferably biomedical, electronics, or mechatronics), be a member of Engineers Australia, and have extensive experience in medical engineering services. Strong project management skills (PMP certification desirable), knowledge of ISO 13485 and GMP, and excellent analytical and stakeholder engagement abilities are essential.
