What you'll be doing
The Sydney Dialysis Centre Technical Department provides technical service and support to approximately 335 patients who manage their own dialysis in the home environment.
The Sydney Dialysis Centre operates under a state-wide service model providing field service to patients across NSW and the ACT.
Patient distribution is 23% rural and 77% Sydney metro. Home dialysis equipment includes: haemodialysis machines; haemodiafiltration machines, reverse osmosis units, water softeners and carbon cylinders.
The Sydney Dialysis Centre is responsible for management of the capital asset program for all home haemodialysis equipment in NSW.
The duties of the Dialysis Technician are directed by the Nurse Manager through the Senior Electronics Technicians.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Electrical Trades Certificate & Industrial Electronics Certificate of the Dept. of Technical and Further Education or such other certificate or course of training as may be deemed appropriate.
- Experience in fault finding to component level and repair of equipment to tight deadlines.
- Have an unrestricted New South Wales Drivers Licence.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience dealing with the public both on the phone and in person.
- Experience with computer systems including microsoft access, word and excel.
