About the role:
As a Dialysis Technician, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping dialysis services running smoothly and safely. Your day-to-day work will involve maintaining, assessing, and repairing dialysis equipment, as well as providing hands-on technical support across both in-centre and home dialysis services. No two days are the same - one day you might be troubleshooting equipment in a unit, the next supporting home dialysis patients across the region.

You’ll be part of the wider HNELHD Dialysis Technical Service, working closely with clinical teams and fellow technicians. You’ll be one of two Dialysis Technicians based at Tamworth Hospital, with strong connections across the broader service.
Hours & Work-Life Balance
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Rostered on-call for afterhours in alternating pattern
Travel & Variety
Yes - there’s travel involved! You’ll support dialysis units and home dialysis patients across the New England region, adding variety to your work and the chance to build strong relationships across services and communities.

Requirements:
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
Electrical or Electronic Trades Certificate of the Dept. of Technical and Further Education, with successful post trade experience.
Post trade qualifications or recognised Bachelor Degree will be well regarded.
Eligibility to drive in NSW with current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distances.
