Manage frontline administration, coordinate patient data and support emergency care teams in a fast paced hospital environment.

Remuneration: $35.84 - $39.61 per hour

Location: Blacktown & Mt Druitt Hospitals

Join the dynamic Emergency Departments at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient care through efficient and professional administration. What you'll be doing 
Provide high level administrative and frontline support to ensure the smooth operation of Emergency Department services, while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Register and update patient information across key systems
• Manage admissions paperwork in line with policy and legislation
• Handle cash receipting and balance floats in line with procedures
• Liaise with clinical staff, stakeholders and external providers
• Maintain medical records and support communication systems

  2. Extensive experience in an administrative role, with demonstrated experience in exceptional customer service skills the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

  3. Demonstrated superior verbal, written, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills and effective communication with all levels of a large organisation.

  4. Demonstrated organisational skills with proven ability in accuracy, initiative and flexibility.

  5. Demonstrated knowledge and competency in the use of IT applications including Microsoft Office and data information skills.

  6. Ability to work autonomously and actively participate within a multidisciplinary team.

  7. Ability to multitask and handle unexpected matters when they arise in a professional & courteous manner

  8. Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
