About the Role
This position will support InsideOut in its role in the implementating The NSW Service Plan for People with Eating Disorders 2021-2025 that aims to improve the lives of people at risk of developing or living with eating disorders and their families and carers. The position will be responsible for providing expert clinical advice in the area of Nutrition and Dietetics to the InsideOut Institute and primarily to the Service Reform and Policy team.
The Eating Disorders Statewide Dietitian is responsible for facilitating evidenced-based dietetic leadership and advocacy in the following areas: planning, developing, and delivering specialist training; developing clinical policies and guidelines; and pathway development in the care of people with an eating disorder presenting to NSW Health services across all levels of the continuum of care. This position is also responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and consultation to Local Health Districts.
This role will be based at the InsideOut Institute, The Charles Perkins Centre, University of Sydney.

Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Demonstrated extensive clinical experience including expert level clinical expertise and leadership in the identification, assessment, management, and treatment of people with eating disorders and their families.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and skills in service development, implementation, and evaluation.
