About the Role
We are a 60-place not-for-profit early education and care center. Owned and operated by Concord Repatriation General Hospital (CRGH), our purpose is to provide quality, affordable education and care for employees of the hospital and wider community.
Our warm, positive and enriching learning environment is designed for children aged 3-months up to school age.
We are looking for a full-time, experienced early childhood educator to join a very dedicated and highly skilled team.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
· Uphold the paramountcy principle that puts children’s rights and best interests at the centre of your practice
· Be committed to providing consistent, high-quality care and education through play-based learning environments that are meaningful, positive, supportive and enriching for every child
· Provide active leadership and apply your knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards to assist, contribute and implement curriculum planning, evaluation and documentation
· Contribute to the management of and support the professional learning of staff and work closely with families to ensure high quality practices in education and care
· Recognize children as competent and capable learners who have rights
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent as approved by ACECQA , current First Aid certificate and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate, mandatory child protection traning.
- Demonstrates understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills of planning, implementing and reflecting on a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children aged 0-6 years.
- Ability to participate and contribute to team collaborative situations.
- Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to initiate, facilitate and maintain appropriate interactions between children, families, staff, professional peers and the community.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary child-safe practices, safety requirements and child protection for children in early years settings. This includes knowledge of health, hygiene and nutritional needs for children.
