- A Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Diversional Therapy and eligibility for membership with Diversional and Recreation Therapy Australia.
- Experience working with male and female adults and/or adolescents with mental illness.
- Knowledge of best practice principles of recovery and Diversional Therapy within a mental health setting.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate therapeutic programs relevant to a mental health setting.
- Ability to operate independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated competency in computer literacy.
