- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a category consistent with the role and responsibilities of a Staff Specialist Obstetrician.
- Demonstrated expertise in the provision of women’s and maternity care, including management of pregnant women with complex clinical needs.
- Proven experience in leading obstetric services and implementing maternity models of care across regional and rural settings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to engage effectively in multidisciplinary teams, promote reflective practice, and drive quality improvement.
- Commitment to high standards of clinical practice and the ability to adapt care in line with contemporary, evidence-based best practice.
- Understanding of NSW Health Tiered Perinatal Networks and maternity/neonatal service capability frameworks within NSW/ACT.
- Willingness and ability to participate in procedural duties and on-call rosters.
- Strong diplomatic and conflict management skills, with flexibility to travel within the Mid North Coast Local Health District as required.
