About the Role 

Reporting to the Director Integrated Care, Allied Health and Community Services, this position will be responsible for the strategic management of MNCLHD Renal Services.  The Strategic lead will promote a multidisciplinary and integrated approach to service delivery, prioritising patient experience while ensuring services are high quality, evidence-based, and tailored to meet local needs.

Maintaining effective relationships and communications with all stakeholders to ensure that corporate goals and priorities of the Mid North Coast Local Health District are met and overseeing the integration of clinical risk, quality improvement and governance structures across the service, ensuring compliance with national standards, accreditation requirements, and continuous improvement principles.

This role will work in close collaboration with Clinical Networks in the development and operation of renal and chronic disease pathways and services and work in close collaboration with the Clinical Governance unit to implement and maintain appropriate clinical governance structures and systems.

About You

You will need to have relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in a large and diverse service industry organisation or a combination of study and work experience with key understanding of renal services along with demonstrated excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including highly developed ability to consult, negotiate and delegate effectively with a diverse range of people.

We need someone who has excellent organisational, analytical and complex problem solving skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery of services.
