Mental Health Drug & Alcohol

About the role
The role of the District Coordinator, Perinatal infant mental health, drug and alcohol services represents an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and coordination of integrated care for women, infants, and families affected by mental health and substance use concerns during the perinatal period.

This role works across multidisciplinary teams and partner services to support early identification, assessment, treatment, and continuity of care for people with complex needs.

You will strengthen collaborative care pathways between mental health, alcohol and other drug (AOD), maternity, and child and family health services, ensuring care is coordinated, trauma-informed, and consumer-centred.

The position also provides clinical consultation, supports service development, and builds workforce capability to improve outcomes for parents and infants.

This role additionally contributes to service planning, quality improvement, and policy implementation in perinatal and infant mental health and AOD services.
