What you will bring to the role.

  1. Relevant tertiary clinical and health management qualification or substantial work experience exhibiting a proven and successful track record in quality, safety, accreditation and consumer engagement.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to apply the principles of patient safety and human factors, risk management and process improvement in a quality and safety framework within a clinical setting.
  3. Significant experience with Executive level interpersonal, communication, presentation, written and verbal skills.
  4. Knowledge of integrated risk management principles and experience in the concepts and processes of clinical risk management and quality improvement processes and patient safety frameworks.
  5. Broad understanding and experience in the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards related to accreditation processes, the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) system requirements and the Incident Management System (ims+).
  6. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in management of complex human resource and administrative matters.
  7. Demonstrated high level leadership skills in problem solving/negotiation and change management.
  8. Demonstrated experience in budgetary and financial management within allocated resources.
