The Director, Allied Health and Clinical Streams is a senior leadership role with the opportunity to shape how care is planned, governed and delivered across South Western Sydney. Leading district wide Clinical Streams and the professional governance of Allied Health, this role brings people together to improve safety, quality and patient outcomes at scale. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Clinical Streams and a diverse Allied Health workforce, you will support integrated models of care, strengthen clinical governance, and build a capable, future ready workforce that reflects the needs of our growing and diverse communities. 

 

Are You the Right Fit? 
The ideal candidate is a senior health leader with a demonstrated commitment to collaboration, equity and system reform and experience leading complex clinical services within a large health organisation. You bring the credibility to work across disciplines, the judgement to balance clinical governance with service innovation, and the leadership presence to operate effectively at executive level. This role will suit someone motivated by improving systems, strengthening professional standards and enabling multidisciplinary teams to deliver consistent, high quality care across diverse communities. 

 

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, or a related field, and/or extensive senior-level experience within a large, diverse service organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale clinical services in a complex health environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaborative leadership (“Better Together”) and breaking down organisational silos.
  • Evidence of successful system-level redesign, safety and quality leadership, and organisational performance achievement.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
