About the role

The Director, Enterprise Data Governance Enablement provides strategic leadership and direction that will enable enterprise-wide data governance across NSW Health to support the achievement of organisational and government objectives.


Health Manager level 6, starting salary from $182,575 - $199,405 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 40- hour work week.


What you will do

  • Lead and coordinate the Enterprise Data Governance Enablement Team’s initiatives, which include empowering and equipping NSW Health staff to embed contemporary, robust data governance as part of their day-to-day work.
  • Lead the implementation and monitoring of policy, reform and change initiatives related to data governance.
  • Provide high level advice to senior executives related to data governance.
  • Support the Chief Data Officer in identifying strategic data governance initiatives to ensure the Enterprise Data Governance Enablement team meets the broader NSW Health and government objectives.


About you


We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience within an executive environment.
  • Demonstrated high level capabilities in the development, analysis and evaluation of reform programs.
  • Substantial experience in providing strategic, tactical and operational advice at a senior executive level.
  • High level conceptual and analytical thinking skills and the capacity to develop solutions for a range of complex health service delivery issues.
