About the opportunity
NSW Health Pathology is seeking experienced Digital Health Analysts to support the Fusion Program, a major statewide digital health transformation delivering a single Laboratory Information Management System across NSW Health Pathology.
These temporary full-time roles will contribute to implementation and go-live support activities, working closely with laboratory, technical, clinical and operational stakeholders to support readiness, adoption and safe transition to the new system.
Candidates should have strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated experience in digital health, laboratory information systems, pathology operations, system implementation or related healthcare technology environments.
The role would suit candidates who are collaborative, adaptable and comfortable working in a complex program environment with competing priorities and tight timeframes.
What you'll be doing
As part of Fusion transformation initiative including the Statewide Laboratory Information Management System (SW LIMS), the Digital Health Analyst will assist with the implementation and support of the single state-wide LIMS. The position will be required to undertake activities directly related to the ongoing development and implementation of the SW LIMS.
Fusion is a comprehensive program of work that aims to standardise, streamline and integrate pathology services over the next two years.
The primary focus of the Digital Health Analyst role will be ensuring that SW LIMS and related applications functionality is developed and implemented in line with business needs and enables more appropriate and effective use of diagnostic services across the organisation.
The Digital Health Analyst will participate in configuration, problem management, change management and project implementation. The Digital Health Analyst will also build and maintain relationships with the business, vendors and project team to identify opportunities to improve user experience and business process when implementing clinical applications.

- Tertiary qualifications in health, science, information technology or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience working in a healthcare environment. Experience in pathology or laboratory services will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare processes, workflows and service delivery models, with the ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge in new clinical or operational settings.
- Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information, identify issues, and develop practical, business-focused solutions.
- Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to achieving shared objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality documentation, reports and presentations for a range of audiences.
- Proven proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), laboratory information systems and issue tracking software (E.g. ServiceNow, Jira)
