About the role

Are you a passionate Dietitian looking to make a real impact in a supportive, collaborative, and culturally responsive environment?
Join our New Directions team and help deliver holistic health services to Aboriginal families with children aged 0–8 years.

As part of a multidisciplinary team of Aboriginal Health Workers/Practitioners, Social Workers, and Dietitians, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening connections between community and health services. The New Directions Program focuses on Closing the Gap in health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by providing flexible, family-centred care that respects culture and community.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia


    Additional Information:
     
  • To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa. 
  • An eligibility list will be created for future temporary part time vacancies.
