What you'll be doing
Practising and promoting safe, efficient and effective Inpatient, Outpatient/Community care that reflects current standards of Nutrition and Dietetics practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures. Contribute to service development by identifying, leading and evaluating quality improvement projects and providing professional oversight to junior staff.
About You
You are a passionate and experienced Dietitian with recognised tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia. With extensive experience across healthcare settings, you have developed strong clinical knowledge and expertise in assessing, managing, and supporting patients with a wide range of nutritional needs, delivering evidence-based interventions that contribute to improved health outcomes and patient wellbeing.
You are highly skilled in working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, coordinating patient-centred care and ensuring nutrition management is effectively integrated into broader treatment plans. Your ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals enables you to communicate complex nutritional information in a clear, practical, and supportive manner.
As a natural leader, you bring well-developed interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, allowing you to contribute positively to team culture, mentor colleagues, and support service development initiatives. You are committed to maintaining high standards of practice through continuous professional development, evidence-based care, and active participation in quality improvement activities that enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Organised, adaptable, and motivated by delivering high-quality healthcare, you thrive in dynamic clinical environments and consistently demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to excellence. Holding a current NSW Driver Licence, you are flexible and able to travel as required to support the delivery of nutrition and dietetic services across a range of healthcare settings.
