Where you'll be working:
Join our dynamic Generalist Care team at the Forster Community Health Centre, where you’ll work alongside a passionate group of professionals across areas including Palliative Care, Cardiac and Respiratory Rehabilitation, Continence, Dietetics, Diabetes, Wound Care, Immunisation, and Audiometry. This multidisciplinary environment offers a supportive and collaborative setting to grow your skills and make a meaningful impact in the community.

You may also have the opportunity to extend your expertise and support clients at the Taree Community Health Centre from time to time, adding variety and scope to your role.

About the role:
The successful applicant will bring their clinical expertise and passion for nutrition to deliver high-quality Dietetic care to clients of all ages - from children to adults - in an outpatient setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive nutrition assessment, education, and management across a diverse client base, supporting improved health outcomes throughout the community.

The successful applicant will be well-supported by experienced senior Dietitians within the Generalist Care team, fostering a collaborative and nurturing work environment. In addition, management is committed to ongoing professional development, offering access to education and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and expand knowledge - ensuring high-quality Dietetic care and support for patients, carers, and families.

About you:
We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietitian with strong clinical knowledge and a passion for continuous learning and development. The ideal candidate will be motivated to grow professionally while actively contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and collaborative learning. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. The successful applicant will ensure patients and their families feel supported, well-informed, and empowered to make decisions that best support their health and wellbeing.

Requirements:
  • Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
