About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Dietetics Department team which consists of Dietitians and Dietitian Assistants at Campbelltown and Camden Hospital in a temporary full time role. The position operates on a rotating roster and may involve working at Campbelltown and/or Camden hospitals.
What You'll be Doing
The Dietitian Assistant assists in maintaining a high standard of nutritional care for all inpatients by obtaining and managing daily menu choices, interviewing patients for their food preference, supporting the Dietitians in monitoring of oral intake and liaising with Food Services on the day to day provision of meals to patients.

- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Nutrition &Dietetics) or Certificate III AHA (Nutrition &Dietetics) or equivalent qualification or minimum 12 months full-time equivalent relevant experience working as a Dietitian Assistant in a hospital with a commitment to commence Certificate IV within 12 months.
- Can you describe your knowledge and experience of nutrition, therapeutic diets & CBORD?
- Describe your ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently with examples from your most recent role as a dietitian assistant
- Give an example of a difficult customer service situation that you have dealt with? Describe how you managed the situation and what was the outcome?
