About the Opportunity
Join our End User Services team as a Desktop Analyst, supporting the people and technology that keep NSW Health  running.
In this role, you’ll provide practical support and advice to help users resolve issues, fulfil service requests, and set up devices and technical equipment for our teams and customers. Your focus will be delivering responsive, front-line, face to face customer service and helping the business get the most from its IT systems and services in a hybrid working environment.
 

As an integral member of the team, you will: 

  • Diagnose and resolve ICT incidents & requests in accordance with agreed service levels within eHealth’s standards, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Identify and escalate risks within the supported ICT environments on behalf of customers.
  • Maintain internal and customer facing technical and process knowledge articles within the agreed ITSM platform to maintain accuracy and relevancy within the portfolio of desktop services.
  • Continually demonstrate support to driving efforts towards continuous service improvement across the Desktop portfolio utilising service management processes.
  • Participate in learning opportunities, briefing sessions and workshops; maintain specialist/technical knowledge.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

  • Proven desktop support experience in a large, complex enterprise environment, including hands on experience diagnosing and resolving ICT incidents and service requests
  • Has effective management of self and ability to follow established processes, standards, policies and operating procedures, and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with a demonstrated passion for delivering high quality “front line” support
  • Technical documentation and knowledge management skills, including maintaining accurate, relevant internal and customer facing knowledge articles.
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple environments and locations
