Where you'll be working

Population and Community Health (PaCH) is part of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
 
PaCH provides community health services that give care to individuals, families and carers, as well as population health services that focus on the whole community or key groups within the community.
 
PaCH's services are provided at the District's hospitals, community-based facilities including child and family health centres, community health centres and specialist clinics. We work with other service providers across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, including hospitals and mental health services.

What you'll be doing

The vision for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is ‘exceptional care, healthier lives. SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it.

Provide clinical support and assist with the efficient delivery of a high-quality Oral Health service to eligible clients in South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.

  1. Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent recognised by the Dental Assistant Education Council of Australia or significant experience as a Dental Assistant and willingness to complete the Certificate III qualification.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of current infection control principles and practices.
  3. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience.
  4. Demonstrated computer skills.
  5. Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes within SESLHD.
