Health Information Services, Northern Beaches Hospital.

What you'll be doing
The Data Quality and Digitisation Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of data quality and health records digitisation within Health Information Services (HIS) at Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH). This includes ensuring the accuracy and reliability of patient data in eMR, overseeing document imaging and digitisation processes, managing historical records (onsite and offsite), and driving continuous improvement initiatives in these areas. The role supports the Data Quality Team and Digitisation Team within NBH HIS.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing data quality and/or digitisation services, including setting strategic direction, overseeing operational functions, and leading teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  2. Proven ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives, including audit management, compliance, and supporting the transition to electronic medical record systems.
  3. Highly developed people management and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in workforce management (recruitment, rostering, performance) and fostering a positive, values-driven team culture while collaborating across clinical and administrative areas.
