About the Role
The Asset Data Officer reports into Capital Works & Asset Management Team within MNCLHD. Asset Management translates organisational objectives into asset-related decisions, plans and activities based on a balance of cost, risk and performance using a whole-of-lifecycle approach to deliver defined service outcomes.
The purpose of the role is to accurately undertake and assist with asset data collection of building spaces, infrastructure, plant and equipment across facilities within MNCLHD. The assets are to be captured to ensure accurate interpretation of location, condition, manufacturer, model, serial number, type, criticality and function in a template and as per NSW Health and Health Infrastructure Nomenclature guidelines. Asset and condition data capture is to be consistent and categorised for upload into internal computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
We have 2 positions to offer for this role. One position will be based in the Coffs Clinical Network and the other position will be based in the Hastings Macleay Clinical Network.
About You
You will need to show demonstrated experience and understanding of infrastructure, plant and equipment, type assets and statutory requirements of asset groups within a large complex organisation along with proven technical experience in one or more multiple areas including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire related plant & equipment also within a large complex facility.
A current driver’s license and the ability to travel is a must for this role. You will need to have effective communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers as well as demonstrated proficiency in time management and organisational skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships with customers.
