About the role

The Statewide Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) program is a digital infrastructure initiative managed by the NSW Health Office for Health and Medical Research. A CTMS is software designed to support the delivery of clinical trials, NSW Health procured this software for use at all public hospitals and health services involved in clinical trials.
The position supports the Statewide CTMS through project activities including reporting, data analysis, documentation development, and presentations. The role also includes provision of system administration, training, and support to end users.
Crown Clerk 7/8, starting salary from $113,574-125,720 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location- 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards. This is a temporary role up to October 2026.

What you'll be doing
- Assist with supporting system administration, uptake and use of the Statewide CTMS at NSW public health organisations
- Work across a diverse range of roles and ICT proficiency levels to support staff to learn and use software designed to manage clinical trials
- Support and assist with project activities including integration with the single digital patient record program (SDPR), and other key digital infrastructure
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships within Local Health Districts (LHDs), hospitals and health services
- Handle data securely, provide analysis, prepare reports, and provide advice and recommendations
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Prior experience with clinical trials in the NSW Health system or equivalent health environment
- Demonstrated skills and experience in project management, preferably involving a CTMS and other ICT systems
- Experience with NSW Government policies and processes, with an understanding of financial delegation, approval processes, and governance
- Demonstrated experience in a system administration or support role
- Demonstrated experience managing data including ability to perform analysis and summary reporting
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience
- As the successful applicant will be required to travel around NSW, you must hold a full drivers licence.
