About the role
As a Court Diversion Clinician, you will provide specialist drug and alcohol services within court diversion programs for clients presenting with substance use issues.  Duties include provide evidence-based drug and alcohol assessment, case management and counselling services to patients accessing the MERIT and Drug Court programs.

You will have strong advocacy skills and be proficient in report writing and a knowledge of trauma informed care, interpersonal skills, cultural competence and be an active listener.

WNSWLHD Drug and Alcohol services offers a range of treatment and support services for people with problems from their alcohol, and/or other drugs.

Our goal is to improve health, wellbeing and social outcomes for individuals, families and the community related to drug and alcohol use. Plan, coordinate, and implement in-depth levels of clinical expertise and extensive specialist knowledge within WNSWLHD Drug & Alcohol Service for Adult Drug Court and MERIT, consistent with NSW Health policies, procedures and standards.
