Salary Range: $118,821 - $140,201 per annum (Health Mgr Lvl 2)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate recruitment professional to play a pivotal role in delivering this critical workforce initiative.

About the Role
As the Coordinator Recruitment - Mental Health Reform Project, you will lead and coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities to support the successful implementation of the Mental Health Reform Project (MHRP).
You'll manage recruitment campaigns from attraction through to onboarding, driving outcomes across a range of specialist mental health positions including:
- Mental Health Registered Nurses (MHRNs)
- Psychologists
- Clinical and allied health professionals
- Other specialist mental health positions
Working closely with project stakeholders, operational leaders and People & Culture teams, you'll ensure workforce targets are achieved while delivering an outstanding candidate and stakeholder experience.
This role is funded for the duration of the Mental Health Reform Project and will play a critical role in establishing and embedding the project's workforce capability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end recruitment campaigns for specialist mental health roles.
- Developing innovative sourcing strategies to attract hard-to-find talent.
- Coordinating assessment centres, interviews and selection activities.
- Managing pre-employment screening, contract administration and onboarding processes.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external candidates.
- Producing meaningful recruitment reports, workforce insights and activity tracking.
- Supporting workforce establishment planning and vacancy management.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Representing NSW Ambulance at career expos, industry events and recruitment marketing activities.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Essential Experience
- Minimum 12 months' end-to-end recruitment experience within an agency, internal recruitment or talent acquisition environment.
- Demonstrated success recruiting for hard-to-fill or specialist health positions, particularly:
- Mental Health Registered Nurses (MHRNs)
- Psychologists
- Allied Health or clinical professionals
- Proven sourcing capability using multiple attraction channels, networking and talent pipelining strategies.
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment activities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing demands and deliver against tight deadlines.
- Experience generating and analysing recruitment reports, workforce metrics and activity dashboards.
- High level communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Project Delivery Requirements
This is a time-critical project role supporting a government-mandated workforce initiative with fixed implementation deadlines. Due to the requirement to recruit, onboard and deploy the initial Mental Health workforce by early January, the successful candidate will be required to work full-time and should be prepared to undertake additional hours, including reasonable overtime, during peak recruitment periods to ensure project milestones are achieved.
