Bundarra Community Health Centre is a vital rural facility committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to the local community. You'll be working under the guidance of an experienced Nurse Unit Manager as part of a supportive and dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to form strong, ongoing relationships with patients and their families in a close-knit and welcoming environment.



About the role:

In this rewarding position, you will deliver safe, culturally respectful, and person-centred nursing care in collaboration with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team. Your clinical responsibilities will include wound management, foot care, and palliative support, along with responding to changing patient needs and making appropriate referrals. You will also contribute to mentoring junior staff and supporting students on placement, ensuring the continued growth and quality of care across the service.



About you:

You are a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse with a strong commitment to rural community health. You bring effective time management, clear communication, and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team. Your clinical judgement and ability to prioritise competing demands will enable you to provide exceptional care in a dynamic setting.



Requirements:

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based practice and critical thinking
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to professional development
  • Competence with email and electronic patient records
  • Experience in prioritising workloads in complex healthcare environments
  • Ability to supervise students and delegate care appropriately
