Registered Nurse: $72,152.52 - $101,299.47 per annum
Psychologist: $77,358.00 - $113,226.00 per annum

NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.
We’re seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in a vital role focused on supporting individuals living with severe and enduring mental illness, along with their carers. This position plays a key part in promoting best practice and ensuring timely escalation of care to achieve the best possible outcomes for our consumers.
Working closely with a multidisciplinary health team, you’ll contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care through clear and collaborative communication. You’ll also advocate for the diverse needs of all consumers, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those from multicultural backgrounds, ensuring culturally responsive and compassionate care.

What you will bring to the role
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing and including eligibility for membership of relevant professional body &/or full registration (if applicable) with AHPRA
- Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness
- Experience working in a Community Mental Health Treatment Team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills
- Computer competence and literacy
- Current Driver's License and willingness to use for work purpose travel
