- Diploma in Social Welfare or relevant industry experience.
- Experience working with people experiencing homeless and/or clients of drug & alcohol or mental health facilities and a proven ability to understand their complex needs
- Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain efficient communication with clients, referring agencies and team members
- Superior organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Strong computer skills, including managing spreadsheet data collections and maintaining electronic health records
- Strong networking links within community based agencies and services
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including a polite telephone manner, report writing and presentation skills
- Willingness to undertake further education and professional development
