Employment Type: Temporary Full-time (three (3) months with possible extension)
Salary Range: $109,857- $129,624 per annum + 12% super and benefits (Health Mgr Lvl 2)
Location: NSW Ambulance State Operations Centre, Sydney Olympic Park

About the Opportunity
NSW Ambulance is looking for a skilled Communications Officer to develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that support key priorities and enhance our reputation. You’ll create engaging content for various channels, provide strategic advice, manage stakeholder relationships, and measure campaign effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, experience in marketing or communications within a complex organisation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Please note: This position is for a period of up to three (3) months with possible extension.
About You
The ideal candidate is highly skilled professional who is proactive, strategic, and adaptable along with:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective marketing and communication strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content across various channels
- Experience working within a complex organisation or government environment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build and maintain collaborative relationships
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field
- Proactive, strategic thinker with a positive and adaptable approach
- Ability to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication campaigns to drive continuous improvement
