What you'll be doing
Deliver and support the provision of internal and external communications activities maintaining brand, optimising stakeholder experience and engaging audiences to ensure Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) presents as a professional and integrated organisation.

Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
  2. Demonstrated exceptional writing and digital content creation abilities across a range of mediums and contemporary platforms for a variety of audiences.
  3. Demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with health professionals, media, interest groups, community groups and senior executives or government agencies.
  4. Demonstrated ability to organise and complete work, with close attention to content accuracy, detail, and quality of deliverables.
  5. Demonstrated experience providing strategic communications, media and stakeholder engagement advice, including the ability to manage sensitive issues and reputational risks in a complex environment.
  6. Demonstrated ability to analyse data and insights to evaluate communication effectiveness, inform planning and support evidence-based decision making.
  7. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
