A temporary full-time opportunity exists for an energetic person to work in the St George Hospital Stage 3 Redevelopment.
The Role

The Commissioning Officer will support the successful development, planning and implementation of operational readiness and commissioning initiatives for the St George Hospital Stage 3 Redevelopment.
Working as part of the SGH Redevelopment Team, the Commissioning Officer will plan and coordinate commissioning and move-readiness activities to facilitate a safe and effective transition of services.

Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent work experience in a health administration or a project support role, with recent work experience based in a complex healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills that lead to the development of innovative solutions to meet workplace needs
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders
- Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and respond to rapidly changing priorities and demands in a complex and high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide input, interpret, monitor, and evaluate policies, procedures and standards
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project management principles and methodologies such as Accelerating Implementation Methodology (AIM) or Healthcare Redesign, and their application to the delivery of healthcare services.
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and records management databases and computer applications to support project documentation, tracking, reporting and communication.
