What you'll be doing
As a CNS2 in the Behaviour Management Program, you will deliver expert clinical care while guiding teams in managing complex and high risk behaviours. You will champion clinical governance, education and practice development to improve outcomes for patients and staff.
• Provide specialist, evidence based nursing care for complex behaviours
• Partner with allied health and CNC colleagues for coordinated care
• Mentor and coach nurses to build confidence and clinical capability
• Develop training packages and lead education initiatives
• Drive quality improvement, research and safe behaviour strategies

Essential Criteria
Current Registered Nurse Division 1 Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Vaccination A+
Selection Criteria
A minimum of three (3) years full-time equivalent experience working in relevant clinical setting and post relevant post graduate studies as determined by organisation
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, carers and a diverse range of health care providers including those in government, non-government and community organisations
Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, with an emphasis on service delivery, quality of care and team cohesion with an ability to identify and improve opportunities to enhance continuity of care between the acute sector, primary care providers and community based services
Demonstrate ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and problem solving capabilities.
